It's been a long time since I've posted or even finished a crochet project. Health issues and a bunch of life issues have gotten in the way. However, I finally finished this poncho for a friend :) She asked for one that gave Harley Davidson vibes! I also crocheted her a surprise, so once I ship this to her and she sees her surprise, I'll post that too 🤣❤️

I finally finished it 😭 I did the math earlier when I was telling my sister about it. It is 115 rows and 110 stitches across. Including my original chain (111 to make the base chain), that means this is 12,761 stitches. I was so excited to make this and kept getting bored after a couple rows. Unfortunately, that's what happens with some projects 😭 but I am so glad I managed to finish it. I probably should have chosen a different color because it's a little hard to see, but i have a friend who really loves these colors and she'll love this haha

I forgot to post this as well. Travis hardly ever asks me to make him anything but he got a little jealous of all the ponchos I made for Christmas presents and asked if I could make him a green and purple one ❤️ it took forever because of my recent health issues but at least this was something I could do while recovering in bed ☺️ he loves it and has been wearing it when it gets too cold in our game room 😂 (ignore his awkward stance for the picture 😂)

I decided to attempt a technique called "Tapestry Crochet." There are different ways to do it but cutting the yarn after each row was the only way I could get the front to look decent. However, my tension is clearly an issue because of how atrociously slanted each piece came out. I blocked these so it looks a tiny bit better but not by much. Maybe I'll stick to Mosaic Crochet 😂

I kept forgetting to post this. But I made another tote bag :) 3 more to go! But I've been told the recipient of this bag might have more customers for me 🤣🤣 I think the liner fabric was such a beautiful addition to the bag! I even made a proper pocket this time 🤣

I love being able to create things catered to my niblings interests 🥹❤️ they might not come out perfect but aunt Julie will always try to make them happy 🥰 I cant wait to give these to them!
