Created the tshirt, jeans, lobster top, and skirt for our six year anniversary. Crocheted the shrug and lemon slice in between all the sewing. Buoys were carved out of linoleum, inked on, and filled in with fabric markers by the man himself. 🦞🌊🛟🍋🦀

Thrift flip! I’ve had various shirts I’ve worn even though they didn’t fit all that well or were starting to get holes. I set out to create a tshirt pattern with three goals in mind: 1) long enough, 2) have a higher neckline, and 3) not look baggy. Happy with the result and excited to upcycle more of my ill fitting shirts!

Found this beauty on the sale rack for $15. I knew it was going to need some adjustments before I would feel comfortable wearing out. I removed 4” off the sleeves to give my elbows more room to bend and added six coordinating buttons down the front to keep it from rippling open. Finished too late to wear it this year, but it’ll be ready for next summer!!!😅

Felicia needed the top of her beautiful wedding dress taken in and the length shortened. We added a bustle to her train, and adjusted the spaghetti straps into a halter. She looked stunning!!💙💙💙

Molly found her her dress on Amazon!! We altered the straps, sides, length and added cups so she wouldn’t have to wear bulky undergarments. She planned on wearing it all day so we also created a simple bustle for their train. A beautiful dress for her destination wedding. 🌵🧡

If the plain tulle topper is too plain, add some details! By fully deconstructing the topper (down to even the buttons!) I was able to add the beautiful lace fabric under the tulle to give it a softened look. The bride was able to have a fully customized neckline and sleeves that could be removed at any time! Sometimes you find the perfect dress, except you want a little more coverage for your big day! The bride requested we add a lining layer to the inside of this illusion topped wedding gown and it turned out so beautiful. 🩷

Bustles are a way to wear your dress all night without having to drag the train behind you or cut it off! By using buttons, loops, or ties you can keep the train for walking down the aisle and taking beautiful photos while having the option to put the length up when you need!

Jessica requested a modesty panel that would look flawless with the design of her dress. We also decided to tighten the shoulders, shorten the front, add a bustle to the train, and tack on her belt so that it would stay perfectly centered all night. 💙

Lea’s dress has a special story behind it. 🤍 She brought me her mother’s wedding gown and we collaborated on a personalized look for the final design. We removed the original satin skirt and sleeves and headed off to Joann’s for an afternoon of fabric shopping. I incorporated the original skirt fabric as the lining while adding layers and layers of tulle to create a beautiful full bottom. Each different layer of fabric adds dimension to her beautiful dress. What an amazing transformation.
