For reasons I cannot understand - I am drawn to making these crazy accessories for the itty bitty ones and just trying to make life a tad bit easier for the moms. My Burpies are a bit unusual in that they are a bit larger then most and thicker. If you've shopped for Burpies in most stores - they have shrunk considerably and costs a whole lot more then when I had babies. In earlier days- i will not

say HOW much earlier but they used to be larger then they are now and thicker in the middle. Well, I've patterned my Burpies after these and found that they are so much more efficient. My Burpies are a full 14 1/2" X 20" with an absorbent middle piece running the length of the Burpie. And they are made of soft flannel, both sides. I make Layette sets ( combination of either Receiving Blankets, Onsies with Appliqués to match pattern, Fleece Blankets to match and Burpies)I've posted pictures of a couple of layettes that I have. Please keep in mind that not all patterns are readily available. I post pictures as I come across unique patterns, colors, etc. And not all patterns have matching fleece, appliqués.
