It is not every day that you receive a message from a friend telling you that your small business storefront has been shut down, all while you are doing your best to stay fully present for the students in front of you.
Today was one of those days.
I am incredibly grateful for every call, text, and message I received. Your support meant more than I can put into words.
Today, I learned that Painted Tree has filed for bankruptcy, and with that, Lyttle Burpies Boutique, my very first storefront, is now in a place of uncertainty. This came as a complete surprise, especially after investing thousands of dollars into inventory and pouring so much love into that space.
Lyttle Burpies Boutique has always been more than just a business to me. It has been a reflection of my heart for families, creating handmade baby essentials that support, celebrate, and care for new beginnings. Being able to connect with so many of you in person made that experience even more meaningful.
While this is goodbye to my first storefront, I am so grateful for the confidence it gave me to step out of my comfort zone and bet on myself.
In fact, this moment has lit a fire in me.
I am officially stepping into building my website to reflect the same level of care, intention, and experience that so many of you felt in person. What you loved in store, you will now be able to experience online.
To everyone who has supported me, thank you. I truly hope you will continue this journey with me by visiting and sharing my website. www.lyttleburpiesboutique.com (preparing something special).
This is not the end, it is a new beginning, and I am just getting started 🤍.
