Last week something very special happened!❤️
I was approached randomly by a woman who felt moved to donate to Hippie Comfort. She requested that the funds be used to create a tie dye outfit to be gifted to someone less fortunate.
That got me thinking about who it was meant to go to and who I could help. Especially right now, it just feels like there are so many people who it could go to.
I started looking into local ways to give, local shelters, ministries, and more. I came across My Sisters House- an Atlanta based shelter that houses women and their babies who are victims of domestic violence- a group I feel passionate about helping on a deeper level.
I also came across a more local organization- MUST ministries out of Marietta who supports the homeless population.
As I was thinking I figured why choose, why not donate to both! That way colorful, comfortable clothing can offer a token of hope and encouragement in more than just one place.
I want to extend the option and opportunity for anyone else who wants to give a donation to gift a tie dye outfit to someone in need. For every donation made- Hippie Comfort will be donating an accessory item (scrunchie, headband, socks, baby bib, etc).
There is now a new link in my linktree that will take you to my Venmo where you can donate any amount (be sure to include ‘donation’ as your reason for payment). Collectively, the funds will be used to source tee shirts, baby onesies, socks, and more that will all be hand dyed, designed and donated to Atlanta Mission and MUST ministries.
