Whew! 24 knitted Christmas trees ready for Saturday’s market. 🎄🎄🎄These are knit with and were assembled with the help of my hubby, who cut the wooden dowels and drilled the holes in the wooden bases.
I honestly would not be doing markets without his help. Somebody needs to load/unload, carry heavy stuff, assemble tables etc, and of course, bring me coffee. 😁
Do you have a partner that supports you in this crazy business? I am so grateful for mine.

Hello folks!! It has been a long while since I’ve posted anything due to a long distance move (and other stuff) and consequently I’ve lost several hundred followers. But, I’d like to think that all of my cool friends have stuck by me and if that’s you please say hi! Our new home is slowly coming together and I have set up my Christmas tree even though the rest of my living room is quite bare. 🤭
I’m also getting ready for my very first holiday market in my new town and this granny square ornament is just one of many offerings that can be found at my booth.
I’m looking forward to posting on a more regular basis now that life is getting a little more settled and I can’t wait to renew old friendships. 💙

Today I’m sharing a of a crochet pattern test for Janine of . I love cardigans and this is definitely a fun one. This pattern, featuring pretty stacked oval lace stitches, will be included in Janine’s new book releasing in the spring of 2025.

Last year was not the year I was hoping for, and during the last couple of months, my priorities have shifted somewhat. I’m currently focusing on markets and therefore I don’t have the time on IG that I used to. My latest design has been on hold also, but I will have it ready for you soon, I promise.

One of my resolutions for 2024 is to use up yarn from my stash before purchasing more yarn…so far so good. 🤞

I’m also not testing as much, but when Chou of has a tester call I do apply. 😁

Chou’s design has amazing textural stitches that create such a soft and squishy mitt. You will definitely want to add this one to your pattern library so keep an eye out for the release.

Why do I find little scissors so cute? ✂️🥰 Anyone else??

The is in the works, but I’ve been kind of side tracked in my real life recently. I’ve also signed up for a three day Xmas event in Phoenix, so with prepping for that, as well as preparing to go out of state for Thanksgiving, I don’t think I’ll be ready for a tester call until mid-December or so.

I also want to thank those who have reached out to check on me. I sure do appreciate you. 💙

Did you know that there are no streets in the Dutch village of Giethoorn? Inhabitants get around by foot, boat or bicycle.

The Giethoorn Cowl is full of rich texture and is knit using two contrasting colors. It features easy stranded colorwork that even an adventurous beginner can manage. Instructions are written for DK, Worsted, Light Bulky, Bulky and Super Bulky.
