Advice please, from those that do sewing - of just about anything - for a living or as a side hustle….
I am trying to get more work. Most of my business comes from word of mouth. I try posting my work on insta, FB, as much as possible. Everyone that finds me is grateful that they did as there aren’t enough in our area that can do what I do.
Can you tell me how you were able to get the word out a about your services? Specifically for all things bridal, costuming, custom clothing, home decor and of course alterations ?
Second question: I been thinking if posting a promotional type ad OR establishing a group-on type coupon - but I can’t think of a good offer to make to get attention. Should it just come down to offering a certain % off any service?
Any additional advice you can share along the lines of getting a sewing biz going will be very much appropriate! I’m particularly interested in getting more bridal work.
