The Brooks Demo Run for tonight is canceled.

It looks very likely that we'll be in a severe thunderstorm warning.

Of course we can't stop anyone from gathering to run, but an official event with the threat of severe weather doesn't seem to be the best idea.

The three mile cross country race scheduled for tonight at Stony Creek has been canceled.

We had hoped to wake up to better air quality, but unfortunately, that is not the case.

Come out Thursday for our Asics Demo Run!

Asics will be in Royal Oak with their new Novablast 6 and Kayano 33, along with the Superblast 3, a cult classic.

6:30pm. 4, 6, and 8 mile routes available. All paces are welcome. Refreshments will be provided afterward.

An opportunity to test out the new Brooks Hyperion Max 4 while taking part in a Prediction Mile.

Event will take place at Romeo High School's Track and will involve 5 separate races:

Middle School Girl and Younger

Middle School Boys and Younger

High School Girls

High School Boys

Adult Race (Awards given out to top Males and Females)

Awards to the top finishers in each event.

Check in starts at 7:30 with the first race going off at 8 PM

Each race will also feature a Brooks professional athlete. Anyone beating the professional (prediction style) will win an award!

Rochester Rd is southbound only from 14 Mile to 13 Mile.

This is fine for folks coming from the north. For other directions, quick detours should do the trick. We've attached some directions that should make this painless. Also, for those coming from the north or south, taking Main to Windermere and coming into the alley may be a better option.

As always, when driving through neighborhood streets, treat them as if they're your own. Local residents are likely frustrated with construction as well.
