I was kindly gifted a sewing stash from my mother's wonderful friend Jeannine. She passed away recently and wanted her collection to be used and enjoyed. I was a very happy recipient as I can always use lace, threads and fabric!
I was thinking about the stash collection. Every sewer has one. It is a lifetime of items that have peaked your interest. Leftovers from sewing projects, costumes and clothes. It is a representation of their personality and what they loved.
Sewing is a craft. Sewing is a lifestyle, a job. For most of us, a piece of our creative energy was put into that gift or clothing. For most of us. Sewing is life....and mix in the love for our craft.
