💔 A tough start to the day at Capitol Optometry Downtown.
Our front door was smashed overnight. Thankfully, nothing was stolen and, most importantly, no one was hurt. But for a small, locally owned business, an incident like this is still a huge burden. Another unexpected expense, another thing to clean up, and another reminder of how much small businesses have to navigate behind the scenes.
But we’re choosing to focus on the good. ❤️
We’re incredibly grateful for our amazing patients, our team, and the Sacramento community that continues to support local businesses like ours. Every appointment, pair of glasses, referral, and kind review means more than you know.
We love being part of Downtown Sacramento and serving the people who live, work, and build their lives here. We’re not going anywhere. 👓✨
So today, we’re replacing the glass, opening our doors, and getting back to what we love, taking care of our patients.
And if you’re looking for a way to support a small business this week, consider shopping local, leaving a review, sharing a post, or simply telling someone about a business you love.
Small businesses are built on community. And we’re so grateful for ours. 💙
