We have no direct involvement with the Dow Championship, I believe we play a tiny role. First, being a retailer of a LPGA Partner. Which I'm proud of.
Dow and DuPont have a long history in material science in the clothing industry. From fabric coatings to foams in shoe soles.
The process/product begins locally and is unrecognizable at the end after so many steps and hands. Sometimes the creator is the consumer, an important connection between the beginning and the end of the supply chain. A full circular economic cycle.
Outfitting Dow Employees at a high level locally, saves money and valuable time. Essential resources for all organizations.
A few years ago, a new hire had an important meeting the next day. He was approached that he needed to be dressed appropriately and was sent to Edwards. Just before he arrived we lost power on a beautiful spring day. To run the sewing machine I bought a generator immediately to hem a pair of pants for the next day. It wasn't about the sale, but doing what I needed to do accomplish a larger goal.
Running a small local brick and mortar retail store since the pandemic has been more about community and understanding our role than financial. I couldn't have done it without the great people from Dow or through them who are friends, not customers.
If it wasn't for the appreciation I have for the role businesses like Dow, DuPont, Corning, HSC and Corteva play in keeping 80 year businesses in the region I would have been much shorter.
There are so many other companies, organizations and people I need to thank. I can't end without thanking Local 85. Your the glue that keeps everything together.

This Memorial Day as we remember those who have sacrificed everything for our country we must do more. Not only for those who have served, but to support the men, women and their families who are currently deployed.
There needs to be funding for child care for families who have a parent deployed.

Bad reviews happen, but we'd love to make a situation right before it comes to that!

We hope that our clients know that once they leave the shop, our relationship is just beginning. Pants split, buttons fall off, coats lose stuffing... no matter the issue, we always hope to make things right.

After 80 years in business, we've helped thousands of customers. We will always strive to provide 5 star service, but if we've fallen short of that, don't be afraid to let us know (hopefully with an opportunity to make sure you're 100% satisfied)!
