I know I live in the w***y whacks but I love it here. GPS often doesn't get it right. Time is money, yours and mine. So I made up these images to automatically send to customers. Just keeping the dresses rolling these days. 3 done this week and 3 more appointments today. From here on out I will only be working on alterations Monday and Tuesday eaxh week. I will still be taking fitting appointments Mon-Thur. But scheduling 2 days to work on alterations only lets me also focus 3 days a week just on craft fair inventory. It's a hard act to juggle but I really need to focus and dedicate my time appropriately.

I have alot of alterations to catch up on this week and even more appointments scheduled. These new peel and stick alteration tags to go right on the garment bags should make things much easier for me. And are they practically free because I'm printing them on my shipping labels with my thermal printer...kinda! Sometimes you just need a 5 hour car ride with your favorite sidekick to come up with a great idea 💡 😉

I'm here to say I don't care how grandma my shoes are... these "step ins" are the cat's meow! I have been on my feet running around for weeks and my old ones apparently gave up supporting my lifestyle. My feet have been killing me come 6pm. Because I am forever changing from my sneakers to my barn boots and back and forth all day the step ins have been life changing! I really need a sneaker to wear inside daily because my sewing shop is a concrete floor and that's where I spend alot of my day when I'm not in the barn, also concrete floors. I know I need better barn boots too!

Did I get into the New England Crafts Mohegan Sun Christmas show.... NO.

Did I fail... also NO.

Will they call me like last year and say we had a cancelation, do you want a spot... likely, maybe, possibly.

Will I not book anything else that weekend because they might get me in... yes, I'll wait and hold out.

Guarantee your own success. Even if I fail and don't go at all, I will have enough product to do a big online push before Christmas! I didn't get this far wallowing. Keep pushing. Oh and I have to get through prom season before I can worry about any of that anyway!

Got my Fryeburg contract, and the Winter Harbor Lobster Festival application. My year is almost completely confirmed. Just waiting on approval for the Christmas show at Mohegan Sun. 5 weeks until my first show of the year.... ahhhhhhhhh!

I feel like I say it enough but people still don't know I am back to doing alterations. So please share this and spread the word! As prom season gets closer and closer I get busier and busier. Please get those dresses and message me if you need anything done ASAP.

As I approach the beginning of my craft fair season wait times may get a little longer but I still try to get things done within a week. It's been a very busy month with piglets, puppies, maple syrup, prom dresses, etc.

There's alot of stuff crammed in my head. Added to that list is that 2 chevron stripes mean officer, 3 chevron stripes means sergeant. Also their dress jackets take the bottom slightly larger patch and the everyday shirts take the slightly smaller patch. And of course the border thread color is not the same shade of blue. I'm not really sure how much more info my brain can absorb these days.
