We know it’s been quiet over here for a while.
A few months ago, we genuinely thought we’d be reopening in February. Cute idea. Life apparently had other plans.
Behind this shop is just one extremely overwhelmed human trying to build an entire strange little world mostly by hand while balancing grief, parenting, personal construction chaos, and the general state of… everything lately.
But even during the hard parts, this dream never went away.
So while the windows continue getting stranger every week, we’ve also been busy:
✨ building indie blind date with a book boxes (including one labeled “STFUATTDLAGG”)
✨ drowning in mountains of clothing and oddities
✨ collecting crystals, herbs, candles, and magical little things
✨ building displays that may or may not look mildly unhinged before they’re finished
✨ and turning this space into the kind of place that feels a little outside the real world for a while
Because this was never meant to feel like just a store.
It’s supposed to feel strange. Cozy. Curious. A little chaotic. A little magical.
And honestly? I think we could all use more places like that right now.
So thank you to everyone who has checked in, peeked through the windows, asked questions, encouraged us, or continued believing in this odd little dream while things kept taking longer than expected. It means more than you probably realize.
We officially have a ribbon cutting date, and I’ll be announcing it soon …I just need to finish turning the windows into something appropriately unhinged first.
That said, if you’ve noticed the windows getting a little stranger every week… just know that’s only the beginning.
