1909 was the first year that the lincoln penny was minted. They were minted in two mints. Philadelphia and San Francisco. Each mint minted two types of coins. One, the initials "VDB" on the reverse and two, no initials on the reverse. The 1909-s Vdb is the most sought after lincoln penny in all coin collectors wish lists.

What is the 2020 W V75 Quarter and why is it so special?

The V75 Privy Mark is a special mark just for the West Point Mint honoring the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. It is the first of its kind for a circulating U.S. Coin!

The 2020 W quarter is the first circulating coin bearing the W mintmark, only 2 million of each design (5 designs total) are being struck. West Point Mint sent 1 million to both mints Philadelphia and Denver to mix in with their circulating coins.

These quarters will be a valuable piece to any future coin collection! They are already worth on average $20 per quarter and will continue to rise! Collect the 2020 W quarters now so that they stay in AU condition for years to come!
