Hi! It’s been awhile since my last update. Through adjusting to everything that’s been going on in the world, juggling working remotely FT, and planning, postponing, then going back to planning a wedding again—girl can’t catch a break!

Anyways, I am thankful for one constant in my crazy life—the love of my life. And I am so incredibly happy that we are making it official and tying the knot this Saturday! 🤍

Stay tuned for more updates, I can’t wait to show you all everything I’ve been working on these last few months - including my dress!

My first time sewing an ao dai fitted just for ME! ☺️

For a long time, I exclusively worked on learning and making clothes for others. But now, in just this past year, I’ve been taking the time to focus on myself. It feels SO GOOD making clothes that actually fit rather than creating something initially for a size 2 model to just hope you can squeeze in later 😂 *profusely sucks in*

The moment I laid eyes on this Opalhouse print, I knew immediately I wanted to create something with it! Had so much fun converting this Target shower curtain into this two-piece set for the Minnesota State Fair. Doesn’t hurt that it came with a blue ribbon prize 😍

First thing off the bucket list finally accomplished!

A few bad drawing habits I picked up back in college: can’t draw legs? Draw a floor length dress. Can’t draw hands? Hide them behind their back. Can’t draw hair? Put a hat on. Can’t draw eyes? Sunglasses. 🤫

Anyways, a little stress-free, fun crafting project tonight! Beautiful flowers from the market earlier today from florist 💕

Can’t believe a whole year has already gone by! It was definitely one of my most cherished memories working on this design project and with such an amazing and talented team 💕 Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it 😭
