In case you guys have noticed or haven’t. I’m taking a break for a minute. My body has officially defied me and said no thank you and no more.
Everytime I push myself to do a collection for the last two years or really strong significant pieces. They literally wipe me out for a solid two months of bed ridden back pain.
As much as I love what I do, I’ve been doing this for 15 years, punching holes on the floor hours on end and hand sewing by hand in an old wooden chair with two pillows.
I suppose I underestimated what my body could handle
I’m not giving up completely. I will make a piece here and there, but not at the extent of what I used to do. But I’ve sure enjoyed making some beautiful custom pieces and very special unique pieces over the last 15 years.
So may it be, love you all and see you on the flipside of this pain moment I’m going through.
