New indigo shibori hand dyed linen (preshrunk) trousers on their way to Cozettes Boutique. Just putting the label on now. These are the kind of linen pants that are comfy, easy to wear. Toss them in the washer and the dryer, they just get softer and more comfortable with each wash.

Strong Accessories
Yvette is wearing the first wide obi wrap belt prototype from Restyle by My Hand. This wide comfortable recycled fabric belt can also double for a halter top. Lisa spends her time sewing and weaving this cute little kitty kat by hand. What great statement and conversation piece!

Restyle by My Hand is a recycle, renew, re-love concept by designer and artisan Lisa Cox. Lisa has been part of Cozette's Boutique for the last 5 years. Lisa takes older, used clothing and revives them with a new cut, new dye and/or new concept. Definitely unique. Definitely handcrafted at home. Absolutely St Petersburg grown!

SEWING basics 101 - Next up: Undercover Maker Mat, Its a sewing ORGANIZER & sewing machine COVER!
This will take a few lessons (so plan on being in class the next couple of Mondays)
Materials needed:
materials
Mat Body:
(1) piece of quilted fabric to save time at least 3/4 yard
Pockets"
More quilted fabric or some quilting squares
1 package Bias tape
Bring your creativity! THis can be fun and unique like you!

SEWING basics 101 - next up Pillow cover with zipper.
Monday May 2nd 5:30pm to 7pm
What You’ll Need:
Your sewing machine
½ yard fabric (if your pillow is larger than 16”, you’ll need more fabric) - you can use anything, jit up the thrift store - a linen skirt, a mans shirt, sheets, curtain, whatever you like - or buy new fabric
1 pillow form (buy this at a craft store or upholstery shop) OR recover a pillow you already have.
1 all-purpose zipper about 4” shorter than the edge of your pillow
Thread to match your fabric
Seam ripper
Sharp scissors
Straight pins
Tape Measure
Sewing machine
Zipper foot attachment for your sewing machine (if you don't have one - I will show you the way without one. :)
