What can I say about this young woman? Quite an amazing artist, humble, hardworking, very analytical, quirky, sarcastic, always ready to laugh and learn. Amanda will be continuing on to be a leader in the local arts scene with murals springing up all over! I'm so excited for her and grateful for the time we spent together.

So then the chapter of Shannon's Web came along. We combined Central Oddities and Shannon's Web at her 2400 block location. It took a lot to make a decision like this but it was a good one. The fates decided different and our time as a joined shop was changed by unexpected new job adventures for both of us literally within a couple days of each other. We sat at a cafe table deciding what to do and trying hard not to cry. We both agreed we needed time to refocus our careers and lives. It was time to close our store. Please join us Wednesday evening and celebrate the great times we've had and the new beginnings at hand. And thank you for all of your support and warm wishing.
