“He’s the hero everyone says he is.”

The friends and family of Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr. reflected on his life of service during his funeral Mass on Monday.

Kilduff, a Marine veteran and 24-year veteran of the Boston Fire Department, fell from the third story of a Dorchester home during a three-alarm blaze on May 23. He was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Such a good reminder that we are forever thankful for our firefighters. Thank you for your service, sir. 🇺🇸❤️

Born on Memorial Day in 1925, Bud Haedike spent a lifetime honoring the meaning behind the day.

We remember the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today, and their legacy lives on through generations of Americans like Bud who never forget what was given for this nation.

May we pause to honor the fallen, remember their stories, and reflect on the true cost of freedom. 🇺🇸

This weekend meant so much to us 🇺🇸❤️

We had the honor of setting up an SRVS Gear booth at the Angel Run benefiting Angels of America’s Fallen, and it was truly one of those events that stays with you long after it’s over.

Getting the opportunity to meet two Gold Star families was incredibly humbling and emotional. Hearing their stories and seeing the strength they carry is something we will never forget. Moments like these are a reminder of why supporting our military and first responder community matters so deeply to us.

Thank you to and for allowing us to be a small part of such a meaningful weekend. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect with this community, share the mission behind SRVS Gear, and honor the families and heroes who have sacrificed so much.

What an amazing turnout, and an even better reminder that community is everything. ❤️🇺🇸

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy officially established Armed Forces Day as a national holiday to recognize Americans serving in all military branches and today, we proudly continue that tradition of honoring those who protect our freedoms every single day.
