One of the biggest misconceptions in the dog gear industry is that waterproof and rust proof mean the same thing.

They don't.

A waterproof collar simply means the collar material can get wet. But the hardware is where the problem starts.

Most dog collars use coated metal hardware. Once that coating gets scratched (which is inevitable when your dog wears it every day), water can reach the metal underneath.

And that's when rust starts.

I get asked all the time where my design inspiration comes from. ❤️

The answer is almost always my dogs.

Winter has reminded me of a polar bear ever since she was a puppy, so the Aurora Polar Bear design was inspired by her love of snow and her bubbly personality. 🐻‍❄️

The blue, purple, and mint colors were inspired by the Aurora Borealis, which is still on my bucket list to see one day.

They say dogs know when you're sad and I wonder if that's the same with them being in heaven.

6/1/2025- the day my world shattered when you collapsed for the last time in my arms. The day when nothing would ever be the same again.

I never imagined growing old without you - you were taken away too soon.

I wish there was more I could have done for you - even if it means taking years from my life. I'd do anything to save you.

But cancer is cruel- it's unfair because you were the best dog. You were my forever.

Words can't describe how painful it's been losing you.

I hope heaven is treating you well, with endless chicken nuggets and cupcakes. Save a spot for me 🩷

We are forever grateful for the fast accommodations she was able to make.

Dog collar or dog harness? 🤔

The answer isn't the same for every dog.

It depends on:
🐾 Your dog's size
🐾 The activities you do together
🐾 How they walk on leash

A dog hiking mountains may need something different than a dog taking neighborhood strolls.
