I'm Ashley, a fashion designer, wedding dress designer, artist, social media lover, graphic designer, aspiring photographer, and an entrepreneur. You will catch me wearing headbands everywhere I go and most days of the week, typically because I am always rushing off to the next event, running from job to job, meeting my friends around town or just simply because I am not good at fixing my hair; I

simply just throw it up and call it a day. The majority of the problem for me was that the headbands I would wear to the gym would not look decent enough to wear to a happy hour. There was no time in between the next stop to fix my curly, unruly hair, so my only option was to pull all my hair back and throw on a “decent” headband. I work as a fashion designer for many other businesses as well as my own private label. When I am sewing, I like no distractions, and that includes my hair! I always throw my hair up in a bun and put a headband on because nothing annoys me more than my bangs getting in my way while I am trying to finish a dress for a client! Every headband I ever wore would pop off multiple times, and I would have to stop my project and fix it over and over again. Another problem was that a lot of the patterns are just plain UGLY. Sure, I would wear them to work out in, but not to dinner with my friends. One day my friend, who became the inspiration for this product, told me she was going to bring me back a present for my birthday, and little did I know that present would be my inspiration for the Swanky Bands! She brought me back a headband that I liked, but it was still missing something. It was one that I could wear for my workouts but not for my social gatherings. After my many disappointing headbands, I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and create Swanky Bands. Swanky Bands are classy, glamorous, sophisticated, and girly with a pop of fun! With my Fashion Design background, I know how important it is for fashion to be functional! Once you throw this gal on, she won’t pop, slide, or slip of your head! Swanky Bands are perfect for the busy girl who still wants to look cute after her long working day, who runs from the gym, to dinner with her friends, and then off to date night. I hope you love my product as much as I do, and don’t you ever worry again about having to sacrifice style in your daily routine whether it is at work, the gym, or brunch with your friends!
