Blue and white lends itself so nicely to a patriotic tablescape and I have quite a few dinner plates, some flow blue. The Betsy Ross bunting with circular stars represents the birth of the United States and symbolizes the equality, unity, and shared goals of the original 13 colonies. Arranging the stars in a circle was intentionally designed so no single state or colony was placed above or prioritized over the others. There is also a Texas flag at the bottom.

A Venetian glass pilgrim flask (note the praying mantis), A pair of Italian hand colored engravings published in the 1770’s after Raphael’s decoration in the corridors of the Vaticans loggia, a vintage Kashmiri lamp.. so desired right now…and a pair of small Gothic mirrors.
