🚨Emergency Food Distribution for SAISD families

SAISD families who lost food during the recent outages have another place to get help Friday morning.

San Antonio ISD is holding an emergency food distribution beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, September 4, at Alamo Stadium, 110 Tuleta St.

The distribution is being held with the San Antonio Food Bank and is specifically aimed at families dealing with a loss of food resources. It will be drive-through only and continue while supplies last.

Please share this with an SAISD family who may need it — especially after refrigerators and freezers were without power for so long across parts of San Antonio.

The power that God placed in Cecelia Chavez to lead all of us in doing His powerful work is truly amazing. Cecelia is an incredible woman, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of this beautiful effort to help our community during a time of need.

Even without electricity, we came together as a community and were able to feed so many people. It was a blessing to witness everyone come together, give their time, and serve others with love and compassion.

I am truly grateful to have been a part of something so meaningful. God works through people who are willing to serve, and Cecelia’s leadership brought us together to do just that. ❤️🙏
