Laura Infante: Circular Fashion Connection Hi, my name is Laura and I empower women to grow their confidence through style and color. I want to empower women to OWN that conversation.

We tend to think wearing the same things over and over means we need more options.

But maybe our favorites are trying to tell us something.

Why that jacket instead of the other three? Why those jeans? Why the same dress?

Maybe it’s the fit. The color. The length. The fabric. Or simply how you feel when you wear it.

Your favorites can teach you a lot about what works for you.

Have a favorite but not sure why it works?

DM me a photo. I’ll tell you what I notice.

Here’s another reason dressing feels so hard.

You think you’re clear. You know what you like, you know what you don’t, and you’ve got a picture in your head of how you want to look.

Then you get to the store, grab a handful of options, and walk into a fitting room with bad lighting and worse mirrors. Suddenly none of it is clear anymore.

Does it fit? Does it flatter me? Is this my style? Will I actually wear it again? What will people think?

All those expectations you were so sure about are now hitting you at once, under fluorescent lights, with no real way to sort through them.

I’ve been there. It’s one of the reasons my method starts before we ever shop.

Color. Silhouette. Style.

When you know what works for you, you stop doing all those fitting-room gymnastics trying to figure it out in the moment.

The fitting room is for trying on, not figuring it all out.

What fitting-room gymnastics come to mind?

The outfit you reach for when you’re running late isn’t your favorite. It’s just the one you’ve already figured out.

That’s not indecision. That’s your brain doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, taking the path with the fewest decisions left to make.

The rest of your closet can feel that easy too. It just needs the same thing she already has: a decision that’s already been made.

That’s the work I do with clients. Not more clothes. More decisions made in advance, so more of your closet feels like her.

I want to tell you something I hear all the time, because I don’t think enough people say it out loud.

Women who love clothes. Women with closets full of options. And still, some mornings, getting dressed feels like a negotiation they can’t win.

They think it’s them. That they’re the only one overthinking a t-shirt and pants.

They’re not.

This is one of the most common things I hear, almost word for word, from women I work with. So if this sounds like your Tuesday morning, I wanted you to know you’re not imagining it, and you’re definitely not alone.

Tell me in the comments: what does your version of “this morning” look like?

Someone finds out I’m a stylist and within minutes they’re telling me what’s really going on.

Their body changed and they don’t know what works anymore.

Nothing in the closet fits right.

They never learned how to put outfits together in the first place.

I don’t hear any of that as a confession. I hear it as information. It tells me exactly where to start.

Because none of it is random. It’s Style Volume, Color, or Structure, one of those is usually the missing piece.

If any of this sounds like you, it’s not a mystery anymore.

It has a name. And it’s fixable.

That’s the part I love most about what I do.

Find your volume.

Do you ever notice the conversation you have with yourself in the fitting room?

Do I like it?
Does it look good on me?
Where would I wear it?
Will I actually wear it?

And then at some point, you decide yes.

That’s the part I’m interested in.

What made you say yes?

Was it how you looked?
How you felt?
The price?
Or were you just excited about it?

Because sometimes the piece we were so sure about comes home, goes into the closet… and stays there. Tags and all.

That’s what I explore in The Style Decoder: why we make the wardrobe choices we do, what’s behind those decisions, and how understanding them can help solve the wardrobe problems that keep showing up.

I know it’s possible for getting dressed to feel easier with less second-guessing and more confidence in the choices you make.

Do you have something hanging in your closet with the tags still on? What made you buy it?

If you’re curious about why we make the wardrobe choices we do, join me in The Style Decoder. Sign up through the link in my bio.

For years, I thought the solution was the next purchase.

The right jacket.

The right jeans.

The right outfit.

Every season gave me another reason to believe I just hadn’t found it yet.

Looking back, I just didn’t know what worked for me.

I still love shopping.

The difference is that now I know what I’m looking for.

Have you ever bought something thinking, “This is finally the one,” only to leave it hanging in your closet?

Kids are heading back to school, and I’ve been noticing how often we use the word “cute.”

A cute backpack.

A cute pair of shoes.

A cute outfit.

What does “cute” actually mean?

We use the same word to describe a little girl’s first-day-of-school outfit and a grown woman’s wardrobe.

Is it the color?

The style?

The fit?

The feeling?

Or has “cute” quietly become one of the ways we decide what to buy?

Because making decisions based only on, “It’s cute,” can get expensive.

I know from experience.

Maybe the problem isn’t that we buy too many clothes.

Maybe we’re using the wrong criteria to decide what belongs in our wardrobe.

So, When you say something is “cute,” what does that actually mean to you?

Today is one of those days.

Networking breakfast.

A meeting.

Lunch with my mom.

Her doctor’s appointment.

Church tonight.

Each role asks something different of me, but I don’t have time to change outfits all day.

That’s why I don’t get dressed for one event. I get dressed for the whole day.

This is where structure matters. The right amount of structure helps an outfit move from one event to the next, so I can focus on the people I’m with instead of wondering if I’m dressed appropriately.

That’s what strategic style is all about. 💜

My mom often told me, “Before you leave the house, put on lipstick and earrings.”

As a teenager, I thought she was talking about looking nice.

Years later, I understood she was teaching me something much deeper.

She wasn’t teaching me to chase approval.

She was teaching me to walk into the world with self-respect and intention.

Today, research confirms what she already knew: people make impressions quickly.

We can’t control everyone else’s thoughts, but we can choose how intentionally we show up.

That’s the work I do today.

Who taught you your first lesson in showing up with intention?
