✨There’s a new link in the bio!✨
Yarn O’Clock was such an exciting project for me and the family during COVID, and although I still knit, we’ve set our yarn-dyeing Etsy shop on vacation mode. For our sewing friends out there, I invite you to visit my sewing YouTube channel. So far I’ve posted a few tutorials for beginners - have you ever thought about making your own pajamas? Follow along! It is possible!

As summer slowly turned into fall, the kids went back to school, with the boys resumed soccer activities. I’m currently working on with yarn that Oliver and I picked up at the in 2021. He requested a pair of Christmas socks, which I enjoy working on during soccer games & practices. 🎄 Fun fact: as someone who grew up and work in the performing arts, I still catch myself saying soccer “rehearsal” instead of practice. 😅 This amuses the kids, who are quick to roll their eyes. I love them. ❤️

Totebags are a relatively fast sew, except when using from my mask-making days. This used THIRTY different fabrics, and I lost track of the hour count pretty early on. I think I started this bag in early spring? Max requested to keep it, which greatly warms my heart. ❤️✨ I’ve learned that I am not a quilter, and I am ok with that. I will continue to admire the beautiful projects on - you guys are talented and incomprehensibly patient! 👍 Imagine how much this thing can hold. 😁

Minnie would not allow me to photograph Max’s finished socks, as evidenced by exhibits A through F. 🐱 I finally went indoors, which resulted in success. These were a joy to knit, combining yarns that I dyed with the kiddos and my husband, with two skeins of store-bought yarns. Oh these are so soft, I hope Max enjoys wearing them! 🧦❤️
