East County Friends,

If you’re tired of the horrible traffic and pollution on the 94/125 exchange (and thus frontage road Bancroft as a result of people trying to escape it) at all times of the day, please consider signing this petition. The city has had this freeway work on their agenda but haven’t done anything for years because we aren’t squawking in their ears enough. Let’s get them moving it along. Years have passed since they put the “construction coming” and “your tax dollars at work” b.s. signs up!

Not such good photos on the bench in the late afternoon! Just made this long necklace and love it. That huge medallion was from a pair of earrings my friend, the sweet Delilah, passed down to me. Reuse, recycle! Can you imagine wearing that on your ear?! It feels like it's brass and polished up like it. Not light! Holy mackerel...

I am very picky and I have to be color coordinated at all times. It's a dang burden! These handmade interchangeable sterling hoops make my life easier and happier. This set is for my friend Kelly who wanted turquoise, pink and something neutral. This is what we came up with. I have a million different dangles. Name your color and we can talk about stones you prefer. I also make medium and large for a little more dough!

Double-sided sand collage necklace. Sand is from La Jolla; tiny rocks from Nicaragua; tiny shells from Indo. Findings are silver plated (new for me!) to keep cost low. The flip side has a resin jellyfish. It's not perfect. There's a bubble in the right corner! Pendant hangs from a sea urchin and Czech bead. Adjust from 16-18.5". $30
