🎨 Calling all parents and caregivers of preschoolers!

We are excited to invite you to our new Summer Art Project inspired by the colorful artwork of Milo Lockett.

Starting June 23, join us on Tuesday afternoons for a creative experience where you and your child will recreate beautiful works of art while enjoying quality time together.

These classes are designed to inspire creativity, imagination, connection, and confidence through a shared artistic experience. As families paint, explore, and create side by side, children develop important skills while making meaningful memories with the adults they love most.

This is more than an art class. It is an opportunity to slow down, connect, be inspired, and enjoy the creative process together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

One of the most beautiful things about our sensory play journey is that learning never stops. Each class offers a new opportunity for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore, discover, move, create, and learn through play.

Over the weeks, children continue developing language, motor skills, confidence, social skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity, while families enjoy meaningful moments of connection and shared experiences together.

Many families join when their little ones are babies, complete all 24 classes, graduate, and then choose to continue because every class is different and every stage of development brings new opportunities for learning and growth. Some children even go on to celebrate a second graduation with us! 🎓💜

🎵 Counting, movement and learning all happening at the same time 💜

While we count from 1 to 10 with our hands moving up, down, side to side and running together through the song, children are strengthening so many important developmental skills through play.

These kinds of activities help support body coordination, listening skills, attention, memory, motor planning, rhythm, language development and early cognitive connections.

For babies, movement songs encourage imitation, visual tracking, bonding and sensory processing.
For toddlers and preschoolers, they help develop sequencing, following directions, bilateral coordination and confidence participating in a group experience.

Before the puppet says hello, it slowly appears little by little… giving children time to observe, think, predict, and guess who is coming out.

For babies, this moment helps develop attention, visual tracking, anticipation, memory, emotional connection, and social engagement through repetition and routine.

For toddlers and preschoolers, it becomes a cognitive and language game where children begin connecting clues, remembering characters, expressing ideas, and participating with confidence.

But something even more important happens during this moment: every child gets a turn.

Through this simple routine, children practice waiting, observing others, social interaction, listening, and understanding that each friend has their own special moment to participate. These early experiences help build emotional regulation, communication, confidence, and important social skills that grow over time.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how capable children truly are 🧠 Even little babies…

Sometimes, because we love them so much and life moves so fast, we step in too quickly before they have the chance to try on their own.

But children need opportunities to practice.
To take their time.
To figure things out with their own hands, movements, and ideas.

Many times, they are capable of soooo much more than we imagine. They just need patient adults who trust the process and allow them the space to learn little by little 🔝🙂

This is not about judging anyone at all. I think every adult does these things with love and the best intentions. It was simply a reflection I wanted to share today because sometimes the most beautiful growth happens when we slow down enough to let children try.
