With small, tiny steps, I make my way toward the week — opening the garden gate like it’s the doorway to my own bliss. Summer still has her best saved for this girl, and I’m walking into it with soft confidence and sun‑kissed intention.

IT’S MY SATURDAY
Gratitude.

As I move through today, I’m carrying the simple practice of being grateful for life — for the air I breathe, for this magnificent human body, for the quiet hum of being alive. I walked on earth, let the wind sweep through my studio, and felt the sweet ease of just being… a little party of one soaking up beauty everywhere.

From this point of view, gratitude expands outward. Everything becomes something to appreciate.

Today is one of those Saturdays — the kind where few words are needed.
Just presence. Just breath. Just being.

THROWBACK THURSDAY — 25 Miles From Grief
25 miles from grief
wasn’t a metaphor today — it was literal.
My little electric Daisey2012 could only carry me that far; she’s got a 50‑mile limit now.
25 miles out. 25 miles back home.
Just enough to get me where I need to go… and back to myself.

She’s been with me 5 years or more, and in these last two years she’s taught me something real:
simplicity isn’t small — it’s sacred.
Home is where my heart is, and it’s ok.

As I move slowly into these two years, I’m choosing the simple spiritual life —
quiet values, soft mornings, and connection that doesn’t get drowned out by city noise.
And when I think of Beloved, I think of Wolfgang.
Completely loved. Completely cherished.
A part of my story that still lives inside me,
the way certain memories stay warm no matter how far you travel. Today is about that:
the miles I’ve moved away from grief,
the simplicity I’m learning to trust,
and the beloveds — Wolfgang, Daisey, and the part of me that’s still her.

I LOVE TO SHARE what was shared with me —
and to love others who walk that same path,
