In February 2010 there was a whisper in my ear suggesting that I start a line of t-shirts to help people learn the art of energy healing and self-healing. Come on...- isn't that too commercial?" "Commercial - commerce," it whispered. "Healing techniques have been passed along trade routes for thousands of years. Use commerce to get the word out, from sacred touch to heart center meditation, to sel

f healing and breath work. Look around, everyone wears t-shirts. Walking billboards for healing for anyone who is interested." Friends tried to talk me out of the idea but with no luck. I had to push forward and our story began. The day after I created the idea of these healing shirts, a woman walked into my office telling me she had previously owned a very large inspirational t-shirt company. She had studied with the same teacher I had studied with for years, Brugh Joy. She offered to mentor me. Each step of the process being assisted in the most amazing ways. When the starting of a business became too cumbersome for me who knows nothing about business, I asked Katherine Lewis, an old dear friend with business experience to join me. When she said yes, our company, Hands Turned On, was really born. Each shirt has a healing technique - with my handprints on the shirt and a hangtag with instructions. The signature shirt "Are Your Hands Turned On?" teaches sacred touch on the hangtag. My favorite is the Heart Center Meditation with hands on the front and the attributes on the back. One places one's hands over my handprints to meditate. Practice Extreme Gratitude is another one I love, with a handprint on the back of the heart chakra for tapping to clear the back of the heart. Whether it is a cloudy full moon night or a black sky carpeted in galaxies, there are wonders to behold! It may not translate into Instagram, but it just might open your heart to the song within and all around you.
