We were recently fortunate enough to work with THE , please check out her feed if you don’t already follow her including her store .

Our IG journey has been challenging as we try to figure out the right balance for our brand. We had a lot of fun with the stupid jokes... but it probably wasn’t a good fit 😬🤦🏾‍♀️

But what has been easy for us is working with the amazingly talented and gorgeously stylish artists who are taking the IG platform and simply owning it!

When investors ask us “who is your woman?” Our heads literally 🙇🏾‍♀️ or 🤯... erm, can we say all women? Any woman who feels it? Any guy that feels it? Why do we need to fit everything into boxes???

When we say this, the 🧟‍♂️ normally say something like, “well that’s just lazy business planning!” To which we emotively respond 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😾

However, that being said, if we had to say who’s our woman, it would totally be Shantil - aka and all around

Our Grey Top with Cape Sleeves is probably the most piece that we have in our current collection. It’s also one of the most complex patterns that we have designed so far. The bodice is fitted to high your curves but the 95% wool blend fabric has enough stretch to be comfortable. The cape sleeves are a loud and over the top feature of this piece but turn the piece into a statement. It also shows you how the floating graduation cap style collar sits on the neck - this will sway as you walk adding extra detail effect. This is not a basic blouse!

We absolutely adore the material we used for this piece. 100% cotton so it’s soft and gentle on your skin. We also love the way it reflects sunlight, giving a silky texture.

When we design garments we try to think of what will look elegant and structured. We like flowing details that sway when you walk, but we also like a little order to be maintained and keep a formal or professional silhouette. ALEMU designs can be worn in the office, for brunch, for a date or in the club. Here, is wearing the our blouse with micro-pleats. It is made from 100% cotton so feels great in your skin.
