At temples like Edfu and Dendera, fragrance was considered a sacred offering — a way of feeding the gods and restoring harmony between worlds. Perfume wasn’t cosmetic. It was atmosphere, ritual, devotion.

Adornment, too, was an act of reverence.

There is something deeply moving about standing before these ancient walls and realizing how much beauty itself was once treated as sacred practice.

To adorn is to adore. ✨
