Provides phone numbers and scripts so calling is quick and easy.
*Get out in your community > Find a local organization that is doing great ALLY work and get involved. We’ll be featuring local and national organizations as part of our ALLY mission to spread the message, inspire each others, and take ACTION.
*Can’t donate your time? Consider donating money to organizations that support being an ally.

We, San Diego Women’s March, are peacefully marching in San Diego in solidarity with the Women’s March in DC. We are dedicated to a free and open society.

Who's ready to march on Jan. 21?

A few things for you awesome marchers to consider:

-The march is about a mile long, so make sure you WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES and BRING PLENTY OF WATER. In the comments below we have added a map of the route.

-Parents! This is a peaceful, family friendly march, and safety is a top priority. Your child/children are welcomed to be part of this moment in history with you. We will be marching on the streets and there will be thousands in attendance. So, we leave the decision in your hands.

-There will be very few bathrooms at Civic Center Plaza. You may need to buy something at a local business nearby and along the march route in order to use their bathroom. Even so, be prepared for the possibility that you may need to hold it for a little bit.

-Anyone looking to sell their own SDWM merchandise at the march! We do not have a permit to sell and police may ask you for one. We recommend you ask for "suggested donations" if you plan on bringing merch to sell.

-Be aware that journalists may be present and may ask you for comment. Because of the current state of the political climate, we recommend that you are careful of who you speak to.

-The Coaster will not be running that day unfortunately. We suggest you use the trolley or any public transportation that is available or share Lyft, Uber, or download Breez (a free local carpool app that arranges a carpool for people based on their location and splits the cost among riders. They've set up a page for the SDWM carpool at http://breezto.com/app/ #/code/d/S1RGZj0re). The best spot for drop off is A St. and 2nd Ave.
