I’ve been enjoying a long weekend by the ocean. I love the sound of the waves crashing and the beautiful colors the water makes as it swirls around the rocks. It’s calming and invigorating at the same time. This earring set reminds me of the ocean 🌊

The past few days (and even weeks) have been rough. We’ve been dealing with heat waves and apocalypse level smoke from the CA fires, heartbreaking national unrest, and of course a pandemic. To top it off yesterday, I found out that an original painting I sent to a friend was lost in the mail. Trying to cheer myself up with some bright happy colors.

Marbling clay is so unpredictable, and slightly frustrating because you can’t really control what happens. Anyone else have an issue with control in life? 🙋🏻‍♀️ As frustrating as it can be, I love seeing how the colors blend together and how it turns out differently each time. The unpredictability means it’s always a surprise and always something new and interesting and I LOVE how these turned out! P.S. - These are available at now!

Everything is blooming around here and it’s wonderful!🌷💐
🌸 I took this photo (second picture) while walking around our neighborhood and then decided to draw it. I've been trying to find new ways to relax and rejuvenate. Drawing has been really helpful and I'm hoping that I'll be able to continue to work it into my routine.

I used to walk by this house every day when I'd commute into work and always thought it was adorable. There is so much waiting to be discovered around us. I'm enjoying this time in life because there are fewer distractions and I feel like I'm able to look around and appreciate things more... something that I'm hoping to continue doing once life goes back to "normal".
