Hi! If you’ve been by the store the past few weeks and noticed that I haven’t been at either location, you’d be right. I went back to Texas to be with my mom in the hospital for what I thought was a long weekend, the day I got there, we found out that her cancer diagnosis she received four years ago, had come to a time where there was nothing else we could do. So for a week, I took care of her at my childhood home. My sweet, strong, brave mom passed away Saturday, April 4.
Fibers of Being was a dream of mine, but it was also a dream for her. She was there the WHOLE journey, even before FOB was a lil thought. She would come visit and insisted on working a day in the store. She would message me every event day and was always wishing us the best. I’m really going to miss her. 🤍

All that being said, we will have shortened hours this week as I get back to my San Francisco life. Love you all so much and thank you for your understanding.
