Two dreams meet — one in the sky and one now in my hands.

I dedicated The Superpower Inside You to my mother, who comes from a sacred lineage of Brazilian healers, just like my grandmother before her. Their love, intuition, and faith in unseen things shaped the way I mother, the way I heal, and the way I wrote this book.

This book was born from bedtime whispers with my children, years of healing, and the desire to help families slow down and remember the light they already carry inside.

🕸️The Porch of Spooky Smiles 🕸️

On the porch one chilly night,
Seven friends gave folks a fright!

Wanda the Witch with her crooked grin,
Mixes up potions (and always wins).
Booella the Ghost floats in with a cheer,
Her pumpkin glows when kids come near.

Skelly Smiles clacks his bones all day,
While Headless Harriet loses her way!
Baby Bugsy crawls—eight legs and a head,
He giggles and tickles instead of dread.

Mara Moonlight hums soft and low,
Her braids dance gently where cool winds blow.
And Count Giggles, with stripes so bright,
Guards the porch each Halloween night!

So if you walk by and hear them play,
It’s just the Spooky Squad saying—“Happy Halloween Day!” 👻🎃

No luxury, no noise — just muddy jeeps, a cold lake,
kids learning from life itself.

The fire crackles, hands share food, hearts share warmth.

These are the moments that write themselves into me —
where simplicity becomes wisdom,
where children without much give everything that matters.

This is where I remember what mindfulness really is:
being fully alive in what’s already here.

At Sol Hot Yoga, we’re doing a mindfulness challenge — every class earns a sticker ✨ and every five stickers come with a surprise! 🎁

It’s such a sweet reminder that mindfulness doesn’t always have to be serious. Sometimes it’s about play, curiosity, and that spark of joy that says,
“I showed up today — and that’s enough.” 💕
