The magazine has wear consistent with handling and storage over the years. It displays nicely and would look great in a frame. This is a tricky one to come by, and I’ve only had it a handful of times. The magazine includes the original inserts.

The individual I purchased it from found the sign in a cottage he bought 35 years ago. It has great wear that is consistent with age, minimal paint loss, and holes from where it was mounted to a wall or post.

Bulldog Baths opened in 1978 and soon emerged as the largest gay bathhouse in the USA. It was located at 132 Turk Street in San Francisco, CA. It was known for its hyper-masculine atmosphere with a B**M theme and prison-like décor. This token was distributed to participants at pride parade events in 1980.
