A little quilting trick that gives you bonus blocks… yes please 🙌
Next time you’re sewing a seam, stitch ½” away from your seam line and you’ll get an extra half square triangle piece out of it. It’s the easiest way to build up scrappy blocks without any extra cutting.
And when it’s time to trim those HSTs, using the TrueCut Track & Guide system makes it so much easier to get clean, accurate cuts without your ruler slipping.

Got some small hexagons and wondering what to do with them? How about piecing them together to create a quilted purse? You could incorporate more spring colors into the quilt design to really make it pop!
This project would be perfect for hand sewing and quilting, making it a lovely way to use up those smaller fabric pieces. You'd be creating a beautiful and functional quilt block that comes together as a unique accessory.

Serger threads tails can be cut or hidden but I prefer to hide them into the stitches for a more secure and finished look. How about you?

A few days ago, I posted a photo of my kitchen and received quite a bit of criticism. Some people said the curtains were ugly or out of style.

But honestly, I can’t afford to put in built-in cabinets down there right now, so I did the best I could with what I had. I improvised and tried to make the space look as nice and cozy as possible.

I know it may not be everyone’s style, but I’m proud of the effort I put into it.

What do you honestly think?
