Today’s project is a classic, and served as a fun little break from the school grind! Handmade earrings make the PERFECT stocking stuffer 🍓🤩🎄!

Hey everyone, huge announcement 🚨I got my degrees and transferred to San Francisco State University. I’ve been super busy pursuing these goals, and getting a frame for my Degrees the same place I get my yarn was very special to me. It reminded me that I am a designer with so much to offer🤪🤓. These upcoming semesters, I’m excited to just share interesting psychology topics I learn about while crocheting. Secretly I still crochet during zoom lectures🤐🤫but it helps for zoom anxiety! There’s a slight chance I relocate to the Bay next semester, but I really enjoyed my time having a pop up shop there! so you better believe i’ll be popping up every where when I do get there. I sincerely appreciate the support you’ve all given me to get here. So much to share, & although I may not be active all the time, but placing an order or sending an email always gets attended to! 💜💜💜💜

Ciao. I’m Israel Oast, and The name of this creative chapter I’m at is called- “I’m not ignoring you, I just have anxiety”

If there’s one thing I can be more open about in sharing my art, it’s the fact I am working through anxiety & perfectionist tendencies. In the last couple of months, I have been too afraid to create or complete anything out of fear of criticism & being shamed for it. This made me dull myself down, and bite my tongue to please everyone but myself. Through therapy, long nights, and changing what I focused on, I have worked through some tough times. I didn’t do this alone, and I’m so lucky to say In this whole leave of absence, i haven’t ever really been alone! People hVe asked about how i am (mental/physical health wise, and i thank you for that)! Some lessons I’ve worked on every day are: my best is good enough, my intuition is right, and going into any interaction with good intention isn’t going to fail me. So I confidently and proudly say... I am here, and i am q***r 😈(jk but seriously). will be launching a ready collection at the end of this month when I am caught up. Updates soon, you’ll hear from me more as i progress. thank you for being patient with me, and know that with therapy, love, and positive self talk. The West Oast/ Israel Oast, you know and love is BACK and BETTER than ever!!!
