Never miss a Saint Auggy weekend (even if you can only make one night).

Always something special about this run. I to see my dear friends, the ones that introduced me to BMFS in 2021 when they invited me to the show. I had never heard him in my life, but a FKN blown away.

This old band has took us for a ride. Their music has gotten me through one of the toughest times is my life after losing pops. I got to share them with my family and friends. My mom is obsessed with the boys, and my big brother that loves hip-hop gets HYPE to hear Lonesome LA Cowboy.

We’ve traveled across the country and even abroad to see some music, but all that time making unforgettable memories.

But, I always come back to where it started…Saint Auggy. Where I lost my GOT DAMN MIND when I heard the Ride Me High cover. S**t, man!

💀 Lucky enough to have married a Dead Head that showed me how beautiful this music is and the souls thy created it.

⚡️ Our last time seeing Bob in San Fran for the 60th anniversary special. We caught him night one with BMFS. To my wife this was more than just going to a show, it was almost like visiting a holy place. We walked the streets of Haight-Ashbury and she told my mom and I stories and facts about the Dead, as only she can do. Then we saw them at Golden Gate Park and she said, “This is how you’re supposed to hear them” while she danced in the green grace and sang. Grahame Lesh joined them to play Box of Rain. I can’t say more.

🌹 Sending much love to Bob’s family and friends. The absence of a a persons physical presence is jarring and life altering. It is sad and sucks. In my experience, you grow around it. It never fades away.

🍀 My wife said earlier, “Phil, Bobby Jerry, and Pig Pen are playing together again…And Bill Walton is watching.”
