tle Acorn kids outgrow them. Our products standout because we build on positive messages and images that encourage learning through art, room décor and fun items that look beautiful and timeless. Our concepts make a child smile while teaching them appreciation for nature, social acceptance of others, and love of all things. All of the product designs, wall-art, and characters are original and created by Bridget Kelly, our founder. After 20 years of designing children’s products and being a key contributor for such notable brand names as: Pottery Barn Kids, Mattel, Esprit, Nike, Diane Von Furstenberg and more. Bridget decided it was time to create products with deeper meaning and more heart. The name of our company “The Little Acorn” came from a childhood story Bridget’s mother wrote about a little acorn that learns he can become a mighty Oak Tree and that potential for higher growth lies within all of us. An especially poignant story since it was completed just prior to her mother passing from breast cancer while Bridget was still a child. The Little Acorn has won numerous awards for art and product design. They include the popular Red Tricycle Award for “The Most Awesome Bedding in America”. The “Best Product Award Winner” from the PTPA (parent tested parent approved) for our art with matching pillows and Creative Child Magazine awarded us the prestigious “Top Choice Award” for our wall art and pillows. Most important, The Little Acorn wants children to be surrounded by positive and happy images and messages, because our motto is “Grow Up Happy!”
