Cheers to our 1 year anniversary at our new shop at the heart of the mission, 3119B 24th st. It was a rewarding first year with many challenges but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Nothing but grateful and excited for year 2 with my brothers in arms Made In The City & EMACULATE LIVIN . A special welcome to our brotha San Francisco/ Photographer to our shop. Our space is finally starting to come together to match our collective vision

As my first cut and sew piece that I’ve designed, I wanted this jersey to be a dedication to The Mission, the place where SanFam was born.

The Mission will always be a bridge between my Mexican heritage and my experience growing up Chicano in San Francisco. So much of who I am, and what SanFam represents, comes from the culture, people, and community that have shaped me here.

Thank you to everyone who has held me down in The Mission and throughout the City since I started this journey in 2013 and to all the new people I continue to connect with along the way.

About SanFam: Born and raised in San Francisco, I grew up between Top of the Hill and the Outer Mission. As a first-generation Chicano, the Mission became an extension of my roots and a place where I found creativity, community, and belonging.

My journey started with organizing hip-hop showcases and open mics at Artillery AG | SF Pottery Studio in 2013, where I learned design, screen printing, entrepreneurship, event organizing and now fashion shows. Through hip-hop, art, and community spaces, I discovered a sense of solidarity that inspired me to create SanFam.

SanFam was born to celebrate that feeling of community and chosen family. Its mantra, Be the Bridge, is a reminder to be a connector, a resource, and a helping hand whenever possible.

Since releasing my first hat on December 31, 2013, SanFam has grown into a streetwear brand rooted in original script, design, storytelling, San Francisco culture & The Mission District. SanFam is a reflection of the city that raised me, the people who shaped me, and the community I continue to be connected to.
