We spend so much time talking about helping kids regulate their emotions. Adults need the same support; we just call it "burnout" instead.

HEY CARTER! IN THE ROOM 🎤

Hey Carter! started with a story, so it feels especially meaningful to be in rooms that celebrate the power of our stories.

This November, our founder, Dr. Mishi Booker, is headed to Durham, NC for the Griot & Grey Owl Black Southern Writers Con-Fest. She’ll be moderating a panel and hosting a workshop alongside a community of Black authors, poets, artists, and storytellers.

As an author, therapist, and founder, Mishi’s work has always been rooted in helping us tell our stories, affirm who we are, and create spaces where Black children and families can thrive.

We’re excited to bring Hey Carter! into the room. 🖤
