RAIDAH is a brand of fashion accessories and clothing created in March 2014 in West Africa. Our ideology is to present African fabric patterns in the fashion industry. With the aim of highlighting one of Africa's riches among others, while basing itself on the fabric in general; RAIDAH aims to conquer the American fashion industry with its beautiful collections, especially the making of custom out

fits and handmade fashion accessories with fabric. Our goal is also to allow everyone to find his style of clothing regardless of its origin, in our African-American diversity as well as modern.

We were honored to take part in the Community Gala Dinner in , TX on Jan. 05/25, a non-profit with a great that we support. We presented an African-inspired fashion show exclusively in Western African traditional fabrics, including " the Faso Danfani and the Kokodunda" from Burkina Faso.

Our Story

RAIDAH : AFRICAN INSPIRED FASHION

My name is Raissa Somdah, and I fell in love with fashion and decided to pursue that passion by creating unique clothing, I am originally from Burkina Faso (West Africa) and launched RAIDAH in March 2014.

In addition of being a contraction of my first and last name, RAIDAH means pioneer in arabic, and it's in that spirit that we created the brand.

Believe it or not I studied Finance and accounting from in Dakar / Senegal in the business school CESAG "African Center for Higher Studies in Management" , however being much more interested in fashion, during my studies I approached people in the industry and started the project of a fashion event aiming to fight against cancer. My dream was to combine fashion and support social causes.
