Now that my fiancé has moved in with me, I have some time to focus on my shop again! But not shockingly, I’ve still been out sourcing cute stuff for the shop because we all need a form of therapy am I right?

Yesterday was a wild one! I brought my vintage to the WAVES vintage show and it did not disappoint!

It was my first big vintage show in many years and woweee I’d forgotten what hard work it is. Hours of pulling what to bring, tagging it all, steaming, loading in & out. I was absolutely beat when I got home and my social battery is at 0%.

But despite the intensity of this past week’s prep and the 16 hour work day yesterday, I had SO MUCH FUN with all the lovely folks who came through my booth and the other vintage sellers (shoutout to , , , , and the awesome people of who made the event seamless).

Did I feel prepared? Mostly! Were there things I’d do differently? For sure! Will I do it again? Oh heck yeah! And as I lay on a heating pad watching tv for the next few hours 👵🏻, I’ll be taking a mental note of all the other fairs I’d like to do and how to make my booth even better next time.

Happy Valentine’s Day to my future husband! I searched a long time for a love like ours and I wouldn’t change a thing. He’s tender, compassionate, the best pet daddy and charcuterie maker, goofy AF, and his cuddles feel like home. I can’t wait for him to finally move here in April and marry me in July! 💘💕💘💕💘

This week’s drop features this 70s novelty print blouse and INCREDIBLE one-of-a-kind appliqué “Water hole” skirt handmade by Joyce Whitcomb-Black dated July 1974. 🐘🦁🌳🦒🦛 I love finding very specific date info on garments! 🗓️ Just imagine how many hours this wearable work of art took her to complete!! ⏰

Why yes, I did purchase this definitely haunted AF 1930s doll buggy for my cats because (1) they’re just babies that’s all, (2) it was only $20 at Salvation Army, and (3) if I didn’t, someone else would have bought it for their possessed porcelain doll collection. This “Mary Lu” doll cart was sold at JC Penney and advertised as being able to hold 150 lbs, as shown by the grown *ss man standing in it for some reason.
