I'm Alex, and this is our home. In case you didn't know, my wife, dog, and myself have been living tiny on wheels for seven months now. It has afforded us the opportunity to escape Wisconsin winters (this last one was absolutely dreadful I'm told), and to explore more of the U.S. This past winter we stayed in Southern Cali (mostly Palm Springs area), Las Vegas (the surrounding area is filled with incredible hikes and sights), Zion National Park, and Sedona, AZ, along with a few other stops along the way. This particular pic was taken on the side of the road in the Mojave Desert.

Now that it is summer, and we are back in Wisconsin, and we plan on exploring it like we never have before. I think I'm most excited to discover what the Lake Superior area is all about (specifically the Apostle Islands).

Pro tip: Plan for two different portrait sessions on a wedding day, one during formals and one during sunset. This is when lighting is at its softest, and can make for beautiful portraits. We snuck Amber & Chris away as their guests were going through the buffet to sneak to the top of the hill and overlook the beautiful fall view. 10 extra minutes with your photographer can make such a difference in your wedding photos, promise we’ll be quick and get you back to your party!
