To all my lovely clients…after 37 years in the same location, Mannikins has had to temporarily close due to the retrofitting and renovating of the Anderson building. It could take anywhere from 8-18 months. To continue serving you during this time, I will be working by appointment only. So please call for an appointment and let’s continue to give your wardrobe the perfect fit. I appreciate your loyalty.

Hello everyone. Yay Finally it is time to begin reopening. I have missed all my treasured clients. And who knew I would miss working so much. 🤪 My opening at this time will be sporadic while business builds back up. For now, my hours will be Tues, Thur, and Fri, from 12-5 ish. When you arrive you will be asked to wear a mask and sanitize your hands. Then when you leave, I will be sanitizing the store before the next client arrives. We can do this. So, let’s get it on 🎶 🎼 🎵 💕💕💕

Stretch fabrics.....you find them everywhere today....workout wear, sweats, dresses, elegant pants. Stretch fabrics require a special machine for hemming. It is called a coverstitch. It sews in a manner that allows for stretch in the thread. So when your fabric stretches it won't break the thread. For an excellent job, make sure your tailor uses a coverstitch machine. MANNIKINS does.
