Nestled in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo, California. Apropos is a destination all fashionistas will enjoy. The boutique is focused on empowering women through fashion, whether it is through casual jeans and a blouse or fancy dresses for weddings or special events. Apropos opened its doors in San Luis Obispo in 2002 by mother daughter team, Laura and Natalie. With roots in the community Na

talie grew up working in Laura’s dress shop, Up Your Alley, which was a staple to downtown SLO from 1976 until it closed in 2001. Apropos has one other location in the heart of downtown Paso Robles on the park. At Apropos we strive to bring you unique and high quality items that are comfortable and help you feel amazing. Many of our brands we carry are made in the USA and are from small companies. Supporting small business is important to us and we strive to find responsible brands that are producing their goods here in the USA and if not they are manufactured in fair trade situations that support the communities they are located in.
