We are sad to close our businesses and appreciate all the love and support over the years. It was a fun ride!! Ian has changed everything, and while it will be good again, it will be different. The community is strong and we are both happily here to help rebuild it.
If you are not on Island, you can place an order thru whimsonperiwinkle.com and I will give a discount if I can figure it out! The inventory numbers online are not correct, so maybe it's best to call or text me @ 239-322-6101 with what you want. We will work it out! Whims on Periwinkle has just gotten in 17 colors of the cashmere popover and they are just perfect for the cooler weather! The paper maché artist Joyce Curvin has sent a few styles of her whimsical birds and they are wonderful and fun! I have some great fabric artisan made necklaces and more styles will arrive soon. Whims canvas Sanibel bag is always helpful to tote anything and the little ones look so cute in the hand painted Sanibel onesies. Hello friends, this has taken me a while to post, but I want to thank all of you for your care and concern during the last 5 weeks for whims, me, and Artie. It has been hard to digest the utter destruction of our lives and community. Both my home and whims are total losses. Much has happened during that time to move through the grief and physical work to start getting back to where we were before. There is a hive of determination and remediation that transforms the landscape every day. I actually feel better when I’m on the island because there is a deep connection and always a positive interaction with someone, that we are all craving. I am so grateful for the thoughtful path Dana, Holly, and city council have forged for us, they have all been amazing when they all have their own destroyed businesses and homes to deal with. There is much to be figured out but for now we are looking ahead, and embracing the future, one day at a time. We are doing our best to take care of and support each other and our beautiful little island. Artie just wants to know if we get to go to work soon?? Much love to everyone that is hurting. 💗🐶
