New Montecito location: 1470 East Valley Rd next to the Post Office in the Upper Village. Asher is the collaboration of creativity between two sisters, Ashley and Erin. Raised in Texas and now living in California, both sisters are also world travelers who bring style gathered from around the globe. Asher Market aims to produce unique items of extraordinary quality and craftsmanship to help you fully express your own identity.

And we’re OPEN in Montecito! Thank you to everyone who popped in to our soft opening last night at the Upper Village block party. Tomorrow, May 2nd is our official opening celebration. 10-2 there will be bites and sips and lots of shopping. It would mean the world to me if you came by to say hi.

So proud of what we’ve done here. On a short timeline, we created a beautiful space with lots of beautiful things. Special thanks to for giving me this opportunity, to my parents who gave me their can-do attitude and their own manual labor to get the bones finished out and to .visual.design for helping me getting this space looking gorgeous! Also to me kids who filmed this and went out into the community last night to cutely recruit party goers into their “mom’s new shop” 😍 the best guerrilla marketers a mom could ask for! If that doesn’t bring home the message that shopping local and small impacts real families in your community, I don’t know what will.

My favorite part of opening a new location is having the fabulous .visual.design come in to help me merchandise the store! She is so creative and talented and I just love spending time in her energy field.

This store is going to be slightly different than the SB and Solvang stores - i’m opening with some other brands and more gifts. Cora is my new squishy buyer, I’ve got puzzles and cards and even wildflower seeds.

One day to go! Soft opening is TOMORROW for the Upper Village block party from 4-6pm! Come by and say hi!

7 days left! It has been a BUSY week with getting the space cleaned up, chaperoning two field trips, doing normal life and then adding Piggy Stardust to the family. Beyond thankful my parents already happened to have a trip scheduled to visit me for these past few days. I have no idea how I would’ve pulled it all off without their help. Thank you mom and dad!!! Yall are literally the best 🤍

I plan to soft open for the Upper Village Sip and Shop event next Thursday April 30th from 4-6pm. Getting so excited!!

Sometimes life gives you lemons and sometimes life gives you opportunities where all you can do is say YES!! I’m so grateful to Lindsay of for giving me this amazing opportunity to more deeply connect with the community of Montecito. I can’t wait to open the doors next month! We had the most incredible time at our Moana Storytime! Our hearts (and the store) were so full seeing all the little explorers who joined us at Asher Market. It was an absolute hit, and we loved sharing this voyage with you all!
