Turns out taking 30 quilters to England is a VERY good idea. 🇬🇧🧵

Festival of Quilts. The Cotswolds. Stratford-upon-Avon. Kelmscott Manor. Highclere Castle. Blenheim Palace. Victoria & Albert Museum. Liberty of London. Wool felting, EPP, cross stitch, lots of shopping, lots of laughing, and approximately 4,000 “wait, I need a picture of that” moments.

Sherri Lambert McConnell | AQuiltingLife and I had the absolute best time hosting this adventure, beautifully planned and managed by Craftours. The places were incredible, but I think the people made the trip. Some of my favorite moments were our evenings sewing in the hotel lobby, just chatting, laughing, and getting to know everyone better. We really lucked out with this crew. ❤️

10/10. Would absolutely get on the bus again. 🇬🇧

The only rule for this garden? More color. 🌷🌸🌻

“Garden Party” is one of those quilts that completely changes personality depending on the fabrics you choose… This one is bold in the rainbow of Magic Stripe - blooming with flowers that pop against a navy backdrop. The result is bright, playful, and impossible not to love. 🌈💙

Off to England for a little creative recharge! ✨🇬🇧 Craftours

Sherri Lambert McConnell | AQuiltingLife and I are spending the next 10 days hosting an amazing group of quilters, and I have a feeling I’ll be coming home with a heart (and camera roll!) full of inspiration.
